About Cambridge Bespoke Renovations
We're here to protect the character of your home while helping it work better for your life.
Specialist Renovations for Character Homes
At Cambridge Bespoke Renovations, we specialise in thoughtfully renovating character and heritage homes across Cambridge, Hamilton, and the wider Waikato. We help homeowners transform older houses - villas, bungalows, period homes - into warm, functional, beautiful spaces without losing the details that make them unique.
We understand what it's like to love the charm of your home but struggle with its layout, draughts, or outdated features. Our job is to make those issues disappear while keeping the soul of the home intact. Whether it's reconfiguring your floor plan, adding a high-end extension, restoring original timberwork, or creating a statement staircase, we bring decades of experience and a deep respect for craftsmanship to every detail.
Meet Paul
Paul is the founder, hands-on builder, and lead problem-solver at Cambridge Bespoke Renovations. With over 30 years in the trade - including heritage work in the UK and high-end renovations across the Waikato - he brings deep experience and a craftsman's eye to every job.
He's a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) and a proud member of NZ Certified Builders (NZCB). That means he can legally carry out or supervise restricted work - and you benefit from strong warranties and a builder held to a national code of ethics.
But what really sets Paul apart is his care. He genuinely loves the process of turning older homes into functional, beautiful spaces. He gets just as excited about lining up wainscoting properly as you do about opening up the kitchen. Clients say he's calm, honest, and meticulous - someone they feel comfortable having in their home and confident relying on to deliver.
